I'm collecting garbage pictures now. This is an informal collection point at the bottom of the AUB stairs from Rue Kennedy down to Rue Van Dycke. Collection points like this that started during the civil war are proving virtually impossible to eradicate in spite of nearby garbage hoppers. The cats of Beirut, along with the most impoverished, go over the edibles, then come the recirculation entrepreneurs, and finally Sukleen take the rest.
