The view from our balcony in Ain Mraisseh. The buildings in the left half of the picture are at the eastern endof the AUB campus. Our balcony is facing due west. The high building in the middle right is one of the two new high rise luxury blocks on the Corniche. The parking lot in the right foreground is the site of the old US embassy that was bombed on April 19, 1983.
