At Kingston-on-Thames railway station. For some of us, photography was felt to be an important part of our architectural education. Indeed, several went on to become photographers rather than practicing architects, and it's one of my regrets later that I didn't consider taking photography courses while studying at Kingston as the photography department were always exhibiting interesting things, but architecture was too an all too important and consuming occupation at the time. We still felt then that we could change peoples' lives with better buildings.
